  • Eminent classical vocalist Pandit Jasraj is honoured with the Sumitra Charat Ram Award 2014 for Lifetime Achievement.  
    • The award, named after Sumitra Charat Ram - founder of the Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra in 1952 - was instituted in 2011 to honour outstanding contributions in the field of art.
    • The previous awardees are Pandit Birju Maharaj, Kishori Amonkar and Mayadhar Raut.
