We can't simply mug up the headquarters of different Indian Banks and even if we mug up we can mess it up during exams or  interviews so we are going to illustrate a simple trick to remember headquarters of major Indian Banks.

#Trick 1:-  If Any Bank Name Contains " Bank of India " almost their Headquarters is in MUMBAI the Banks are :-

  • State Bank of India – Mumbai
  • Bank of India – Mumbai
  • Central Bank of India – Mumbai
  • Union Bank of India – Mumbai
  • IDBI (Industrial Development bank of India) – Mumbai
  • Dena Bank – Mumbai (This bank does not have ‘of india’ at last but its Headquarter is based in Mumbai)

Note :-  Even the Headquarters of  Reserve Bank of India  and Security & Exchange Board of India  is in Mumbai.

#Trick 2:-  If Bank have “INDIAN” at the starting of it's name it's Headquarters is in Chennai

  • Indian overseas Bank – Chennai
  • Indian Bank – Chennai

#Trick3:-  Vijay Can Bang – Bangaluru ( Here Vijay means Vijaya Bank and Can means Canara Bank )

  • Vijaya Bank – Bangalore
  • Canara Bank – Bangalore

#Trick4:-  Delhi and Punjabi Mahila are good in commerce
